Our Fitness Philosophy: Developing fitness and strength is highly beneficial for long term health. We will be developing stronger bodies to carry us forward in life, leisure and performance. If you are unfamiliar with resistance training, let us show you how to do it in a results driven and safe environment. Our classes are loaded with variety and each individual is responsible for challenging themselves with guidance from your trainer and encouragement from our supportive community.

Nick Deschenes

WKF Owner, CFL2

Nick has been a lifelong athlete. He competed at elite levels as a teen and achieved his dream as a professional hockey player. Those years developing into a high-performance athlete gave Nick exposure to a wide range of coaching approaches and techniques. Those experiences have been leveraged into a 15-year specialty in team training and a personal passion for CrossFit. Among his more recent personal accomplishments, Nick has competed globally as a CrossFit Athlete.

As WKF Owner, Nick can be seen leading classes or popping in to connect with members – and helping us all to develop stellar form!

Emilee Enns

BHK (Kinesiology), BCAK, FMT1

When one of her team training clients accomplishes something they’ve been working towards, Emilee’s pride and excitement rival her client’s own. Emilee is invested in the physical, mental and emotional success of the individuals she trains. All of it a positive result of her own personal struggles and triumphs.

“I gain weight really easily, and know how it feels to plateau. I get the frustration of working hard but not seeing results. Now, as a trainer, I know how to overcome that plateau, see results and gain the confidence that comes with it.”

Emilee’s personal goals on the horizon include a focus on personal nutrition – bringing out the best in herself while she helps others do the same.

Mike Kay

CFL1

Mike started his fitness journey in 2013 with a few fellow firefighters. It didn’t take him long to develop a passion for CrossFit. It helped him have the energy to keep up with his four kids, play sports, and become physically fit for his demanding career.

Mike decided to go further with his new passion and completed various CrossFit competitions as well as obtaining his CFL1. The love of CrossFit as a sport and the community aspect that comes along with it is what keeps him exciting about coaching.

Celine Leclair

CPT, RNBN

Celine is a certified Personal Trainer, registered nurse, and holistic health coach. Her work as a nurse in various areas in the hospital inspired her passion for preventative health. She obtained her personal training certification in 2018 has been training 1 on 1 ever since. Celine is committed to ongoing learning about all thing’s health and wellness.

She has recently started a health coaching service which encompasses not only movement and exercise but nutrition and mindset work. Celine’s athletic background includes gymnastics, team sports, long distance running, CrossFit, and Bodybuilding


Scott Wasden

CFL1

Scott grew up training to play competitive sports. His main passion was hockey where he played professionally. Throughout his sports career he has participated in a wide variety of training styles and methodologies. Three years ago he found CrossFit and quickly fell in love with the variety, challenges and community it provided. He sees CrossFit as a sport that can help anyone achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle. His participation in this sport enhances his performance and ability to carry out his duties as a career firefighter.

Scott is excited to pass on his positive experiences about trying a new form of training and help others stay motivated while they improve on their fitness.
